Statement by Public Advocate Gotbaum on Citywide Public School Survey
Public Advocate Gotbaum said “While the results paint a pretty picture of the New York City public school system, it seems like this survey is nothing more than a multi-million dollar PR effort. It clearly didn’t ask tough questions and won't help solve persistent overcrowding, low graduation rates, and problems with special education. In fact, parents of special ed students were not even included in the survey."
