Public Advocate Gotbaum on the State's Appeals Court Decision to Uphold Cell Phone Ban
Public Advocate Betsy Gotbaum said, "Time and time again, parents have spoken out against the cell phone ban. Countless parents across the city feel that this ban compromises children’s safety, and prevents them from reaching their child in the event of an emergency. This administration claims to be concerned with being held accountable, and yet the DOE continues to blatantly ignore parents' concerns to uphold their own policies."
